There are so many reasons to choose the Caribbean and so many ways to enjoy the destinations! The Region stretches down in a long, curvaceous 2,000 mile chain from The Bahamas in the north to Guyana in the South, and from Barbados in the east to Belize in the west. Tiny islets, small, medium and large volcanic and coral islands and countries all make up this totally tropical paradise.

Its diversity is a large part of the appeal – no two destinations are the same and every holiday will be different. It’s a region you can visit over and over again and always discover something new.

More than beautiful beaches. There’s more to the Caribbean than flying and flopping on the beach. It is one of the most dynamic holiday regions in the world to keep fit and in shape whilst having the time of your life! There are a plethora of exciting activities that help to provide a good workout whilst experiencing the natural warmth, charm and beauty of the Caribbean!

For those of you who love to hike, did you know that the island of Dominica boasts a trail of over 115 miles! This takes you through mountainous landscapes, rivers and waterfalls as well as through communities where the locals are all too happy to share their culture with you. Climbing the falls at Dunns River in Ocho Rios, Jamaica, is a workout for anyone, as too is climbing The Soufrière Hills Volcano in Montserrat and the Gros Piton in Saint Lucia.

Nature lovers can visit the Kaieteur and Orinduik Falls in Guyana. There are also many opportunities for wildlife spotting and bird watching on the Savannah. Some of the finest and most recognised sailing regattas and fishing tournaments take place in The British Virgin Islands and St. Maarten. Divers, snorkellers and water sports enthusiasts can show off their techniques and learn new hobbies in the glorious Caribbean sea! The shores of the Cayman Islands, The Bahamas, St. Eustatius and Tobago are renowned for divers whilst the Caribbean coast of Venezuela – Margarita Island – has kite surfing, kayaking and bone fishing! And Antigua & Barbuda is great for swimming with stingrays.

So whether playing golf in Puerto Rico or Cuba, competing in a triathlon in Nevis, jumping in a Carnival band in Trinidad, Barbados, Grenada or St. Vincent and the Grenadines, we make keeping fit and staying healthy fun!

And after the action, there is plenty of luscious fruits and exotic vegetables, and freshly caught seafood to tantalise your palates; so don’t miss out on some of the great foodie events in the US Virgin Islands, Turks and Caicos, Anguilla, Curaçao, Saint-Martin, Belize, Martinique and St. Kitts. Alternatively, whet your artistic appetite and explore Haiti’s ‘open museum’ north coast. What are you waiting for? Get moving!
